Around 35% of Fiorans possess some kind of magic, due to both Fiore's Earthland territory being the most magically concentrated location on the planet, and that over time many mages immigrated to the Federation, further bolstering these numbers. As a result, magic is usually seen more as a tool by Fiorans than a mystical power, and their rather nonspiritual approach to things reflects such. As a whole, Fiore is seen as a rather pragmatic nation, a place where anything and everything can be used to advanced ones' goals. Indeed, its citizens are often viewed to have a particularly ambitious spirit, proven by the fact that many corporate positions are held by them. Fiorans are also observed to be rather independent, as they value democratic principles and often look down upon countries, most notably the СПСР, whose governing tactics are in opposition to the Federation's. Most have a strong sense of nationalism, and are not afraid to voice their opinions on various topics, upholding a longstanding tradition of civil debate. To this day, March 5th is celebrated as the day Fiore broke free of its monarchy, just shy of a thousand years ago. For many Fiorans, it is regarded as the most important holiday of the year, and festivals surround it with bombastic celebrations. History: The history of the Federation can be traced back to when it was instead known as the Fiorean Kingdom, founded by Arlan Fiore and later reunified by Septus ro Unmariquia. Government: The government of Fiore is best described as a presidential representative republic, consisting of 12 states bound federally together by the Fioran Constitution. Three branches of government are found in the federal government, along with the states': the executive, headed by the president or a governor respectively; the legislative, consisting of the Board and the Senate; and the judicial, made up of the Superior and Inferior Courts. A Magic Council also exists within the judicial system, although only criminals whose magic is seen as a threat to the entire galaxy are tried here, the branch also being responsible for the registration of all Fioran mages. Geography: The geography of the Federation is greatly varied, changing from planet to planet and system to system. However, a number of generalities can be said about Fioran settlements, they are generally rather sophisticated in design and most can be described as "first world". The climates of many planets are varied, with summers and winters that truly do function as such. While wilderness exists within the states, non-urban areas are most often found on the moons that orbit their planets, as most of the planets have been completely overtaken by urban development. Also notable is the permeation of magic throughout almost all Fioran territory, a result of the mages that have lived on the land for generations, steadily imbuing a human touch into what was once alien landscape. Locations: 5 systems, 12 planets and 19? moons. Many other areas of space also colonized. Chrysanthemum - military (moons used as shipyards?) Crocus - executive and legislative? (one moon - the capital?) Era - judicial and magic council (no moons?) Acacia - Lacryma mines and tech (mines on moons - five of them) Belladonna - knowledge (colleges on moons - two of them) Coreopsis - Often referred to as the twin of Poinsettia, the two states are distinctive enough to be classified as two, however due to the nature of their planets being binary in revolution of one another they are closer than most others. That being said, Coreopsis is known for its romantic gestures above all else, a concept that might seem silly, at least until one visits the state. Magic flows freely on the planet, second only to Magnolia in numbers, and such is reflected in the plentiful wildlife. Indeed, Coreopsis is one of the most untamed states in the Federation, yet despite that it has numerous settlements, largely incorporating nature quite literally into its cities, bending flora much like something out of a fairy tale. Other than its tourist appeal, the state also produced a large portion of Fiore's non-imported foodstuffs, reflecting its often humble way of life. Poinsettia - More urbanized than its counterpart, Poinsettia is also rooted in agriculture, however such is far more scientific in approach than Coreopsis's take on it. Most known for the stable life it produces, the state is rather quiet on the galactic scale compared to others, yet also the safest among the Federation's fold. Its climate mild and landscape largely unscarred by rifts in geography except for the occasional body of water where the natural world still remains, Poinsettia offers an air of tranquility found in few other places around the galaxy, something that paradoxically can attract more interesting characters to the state. Neither Poinsettia nor Coreopsis have any moons, due to the two being close enough to each other that only the opposing planet dominates the sky. Magnolia - Home to the largest population of mages in Fiore, Magnolia is a virtual paradise for those who practice it, and to a degree non-mages are more often ostracized than the opposite, although discrimination on such basis is quite uncommon in the Federation to begin with. The planet is a largely metropolitan area, however its style possesses some charm reminiscent of designs from Earthland, with stone architecture being common and magic rather than technology lighting up every winding street. Magnolia has a varied climate, although it never gets unbearably hot or particularly cold, perhaps due to its inhabitants' natures. Some of if not the most prestigious schools for magic are also found on Magnolia and its three moons, all of which are inhabited yet largely wild, boasting many magical creatures. Tessera - Once known as the Grand City of Rebirth, the state of Tessera has changed much from its inception, from a historically diverse metropolis to a culturally diverse one. Indeed, Tessera holds the highest immigrant rate in the Federation, and its jumbled architecture to a degree reflects this. It is a place of opportunity for many, and has little influence from large corporations, rather most of the business in Tessera is locally owned, and for that its diverse economy also draws a healthy share of tourists. For the most part, the planet is warm, occasionally getting a little too hot for comfort, and also has some agricultural roots, largely based around unique crops only found naturally in far-reaching parts of the galaxy. The planet has no moons, although some small asteroids are caught in its orbit, doomed to eventually fall down to the earth. Trillium - Glamorous compared to many others, Trillium is one of the richest states in the Federation, owing not to its technical prowess but its entertainment value. Renown throughout the galaxy for its casinos, dueling rings, race courses, and just about everything else someone wealthy might be drawn to on a Friday night, many corporations also make their headquarters in the state due to its status, the likes of IMG being just one. It goes without saying that the state's architecture reflects such, sophisticated and upkept to the point where most surfaces glitter in the night lights. Most of the planet consists of urban sprawl, intermittent with plateaus of rock and snow, depending where on the planet's surface one is. Trillium has four small moons, all of them dedicated to various vacation resorts and the like, being far more tranquil than the main state. Dandelion - Often viewed as the "that one uncle" of the Federation, Dandelion's history and roots in criminal activity have made it one of the least desirable states in Fiore to live in, at least according to those in the higher echelons of society. In truth, Dandelion attracts many people to it, mainly those with a less than satisfactory past looking to either redeem themselves or continue their quest through darkness. The planet is often rainy yet generates little wind, leaving to it having a somewhat smoggy atmosphere, also reflective of the manufacturing that is a part of its massive, gray city sprawl. Its two moons are gray as well, one used as a federal prison merely overseen by Dandelion and the other a massive conglomerate of, well really nothing, failed projects and towns with inhabitants merely living to see another day. Ironforge - A nation once separated from the rest of Fiore by mountain walls, Ironforge has long since become a proper part of the Federation, contributing its fire and smithing skills to the rest of the states. The surface of the Ironforge's planet is somewhat volatile, its tectonic plates far from settled which has resulted in some of the largest earthquakes and volcanoes recorded by any civilized place in the galaxy. However, over the years infrastructure has been built across the surface to counteract such, and for the most part if one doesn't step outside the various cities of Ironforge they will be safe. The state also has two moons under its control, one in the process of being terraformed from a lifeless rock and the other home to most of Ironforge's water supply along with a few small cities. Military: The Federation's military might is certainly nothing to scoff at, possessing perhaps the most technologically advanced fleet of ships in the galaxy, or at least the largest of any competitors for the title. Economy: Fiore boasts a strongly free-leaning mixed economy, with private interests driving the market in most circumstances and the government only really regulating and taxing imports for protection purposes. Many activities dominate the market of the Federation, most notably those service oriented in terms of mages, adventurers, and mercenaries, along with Fiore being the number one producer and refiner of lacryma and also the best innovator when it comes to incorporating such into technology. Regional interests do exist, however, and the Federation is defined by many more things than just its generalities.

Brave Galaxy is set in a world loosely based on Hiro Mashima’s Fairy Tail and Eden’s Zero. It is a PG-13 or so rated space fantasy RP, and uses a combination of character statistics, which can be acquired via roleplaying and events, and creative freedom to help direct players’ characters. While there is a main storyline, which can be found in the events section, characters are free to interact with others and their environment however they see fit.
