This half starts in the dark cargo hold of a lumber ship headed for Chorus. There, tucked amongst the wood, sits a single man hellbent on redefining his future. Despite the steady streams of tears that had wet his cheeks for most of the trip, the stowaway was brimming with incessant determination. The man formerly known as Angelo Hurtado-Valentine had been born the son of a gambling addicted blacksmith, and had recently been sold into debt slavery in order to save his fathers life. Not wanting to become trapped by his fathers poor decisions, Angelo ran away from home and snuck onto the next ship headed towards Chorus. Rumors of the planets ether rich mines had taken the galaxy by storm as thousands of people flocked to the backwater planet with dreams of opulence. The man shivering in the cargo hold was no different. With nothing but a handful of forged documents and some sketchy mining permits, the man now named Jasper Bolivar was headed for Chorus. The other half of the story begins several years before Jasper is even born, on the now dead planet of Earthland. Brave Galaxy is set in a world loosely based on Hiro Mashima’s Fairy Tail and Eden’s Zero. It is a PG-13 or so rated space fantasy RP, and uses a combination of character statistics, which can be acquired via roleplaying and events, and creative freedom to help direct players’ characters. While there is a main storyline, which can be found in the events section, characters are free to interact with others and their environment however they see fit.
